Man denied bail after being charged over gang rape of teen girls in Brisbane park

A man charged over the gang rape of two girls in a Brisbane park has been refused bail.

The 19-year-old is one of four men charged with offences relating to the alleged repeated rapes of two girls in December.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, unsuccessfully applied for bail in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

He faces 40 charges, including 16 counts of rape.
