Victoria Police find body of missing snorkeller near Melbourne’s Altona beach
Police have found the body of a snorkeller who disappeared at Altona beach in Melbourne’s south-west over the weekend.
The 20-year-old woman, from Ashwood, was in the water with friends when she vanished on Saturday morning.
Police say she was found on Monday about 10:30am (AEDT) just off the pier where she was last seen.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
