Pretty quiet at the river mouth this morning. Scattered cloud under blue skies. A brisk 12 to 18 knot south easterly blowing. No boats heading out apart from one lone jet ski rider with a surf board. Not much in the way of swell on the bar. Birds working in close over towards the North Shore. BOM forecast is for south easterly winds 15 to 20 knots tending easterly in the late evening.
