Hume urges retirees to use super capital, rather than just returns – Sydney Morning Herald
Many live only off the returns from their investments, hindering their standard of living, and die with most of their retirement savings intact.

The challenge for policymakers is to help retirees to use their savings more efficiently and enjoy a much better standard of living, Senator Hume said.
The super system has endured multiple add-ons which had driven down efficiencies, she said.
We must continue to keep chipping away at inefficiencies; our goal for 2021 is to plug those and move to best outcomes
