After five hard-fought rounds, UFC featherweight champ Volkanovski denied Holloway the chance to win back the belt with a pair of 48-47 scorecards. One judge, David Lethaby, dissented for the former champion, giving him the 48-47 win.
Judges Mark Collett and Clemens Werner gave Volkanovski the fight, with both giving the champ Rounds 3-5 via 10-9 scores. Lethaby gave Holloway the win, awarding 10-9 scores in Rounds 1, 2 and 5.
