Commissioner expects more men to be charged over gang rape

“The investigations are ongoing and I expect more perpetrators will be held to account as a result of that incident.”
It’s believed up to 10 men could have been involved in the attack on the two 15-year-old girls, with the investigation into the assault being spearheaded by the Inala Child Protection Investigation Unit.
The Brisbane Magistrates Court heard on Friday that the girls met some of the men at a nearby train station on the day of the incident, where they allegedly smoked cannabis and drank alcohol, before they went to Karawatha quarry.
There a number of other men arrived, and the girls were taken to the nearby Calamvale District Park where the assaults allegedly took place.
