Maxi snubbed by Gilchrist in BBL Team of the Tournament for uncapped Sixer – Fox Sports
Adam Gilchrist and Mark Waugh have named their BBL Teams of the Tournament, but Glenn Maxwell has only made the cut in one of the Australian greats’ XIs.
Gilchrist didnt pick the Stars all-rounder, opting to include Sydney Sixers Jordan Silk as his only change in the batting order compared to the official team selected by the leagues eight coaches.
Silk has made 365 runs at 36.50 this season with a strike rate of 144.26 a slightly better stat line than Maxwells 379 runs at 31.58, with a strike rate of 143.56.
