Victoria confirms changes to traffic light permit system allowing anyone from NSW to enter the state
Victoria Police has wound up its vehicle checkpoints along the New South Wales border, after the last “red zone” in Sydney was downgraded to an orange zone.

All of New South Wales except the Cumberland local government area (LGA) is now considered a green zone under Victoria’s latest travel rules.
Nine Sydney local government areas that were orange zones — Blacktown, Burwood, Canada Bay, Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield, Inner West, Paramatta, Liverpool and Strathfield — were downgraded to green zones at 6:00pm on Friday.
