Whincup: Up to 15 drivers can challenge for title – Supercars.com
Jamie Whincup believes the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will be wide open, with the seven-time champion predicting up to 15 drivers can take out the title.
With Scott McLaughlin and Penske departing, many believe Whincup’s Red Ampol Racing Team, which also features 2016 champion Shane van Gisbergen, will be the ones to beat.
McLaughlin ruled the roost between 2018 and 2020, clinching the 2019 and 2020 titles with a round to spare.
However, Whincup expects the competition in 2021 to be tighter…
