The bogus caller said she was there to ‘give the Covid-19 vaccine’

A woman posed as a nurse visiting to ‘give the Covid jab’ in a bid to get into a pensioner’s house.
An elderly woman who lives in Dumfries was approached by a woman in a blue outfit at her home.
The fake nurse claimed she was there to give the woman a Covid vaccination, the Daily Record reports.
The visit came after someone had called the pensioner to ask if she lived at a different address. The fraudster arrived later that day after being corrected.
