Brisbane Heat speedster Ben Laughlin has lodged a contender for catch of BBL history in tonight’s elimination final against the Adelaide Strikers, pulling off a spectacular one-handed snag at full stretch in the outfield.
Michael Neser smashed a slog-sweep to wide long-on and Laughlin, who had been fielding at long-off, bolted 40 metres across The Gabba turf and launched himself at full stretch.
When the ball managed to stick in his right hand, mayhem erupted.
