Feminist dating app Bumble bans body-shaming in new campaign – 9Honey

Female-first dating app Bumble has taken a hard line against body-shaming, offering users a new function that will directly address cruel comments.
The networking app has created new automated safeguards to detect comments and images that go against it’s terms and conditions banning unsolicited or derogatory comments made about someone’s appearance, body shape, size or health.
The function, launched globally today, will offer a distinct body shaming option in the app’s “Block + Report” tool.
