Suaalii hype hits next level as teen NRL prodigy earns shock selection – Fox Sports
Teenage Roosters prodigy Joseph Suaalii has been picked in NSW’s Emerging Origin squad despite not yet being old enough to legally play in the NRL.
The 17-year-old is one of 29 players named on Friday who will congregate at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence in Sydney on Saturday and be addressed by Blues coach Brad Fittler.
Only players based in NSW and the ACT were considered for selection in the squad, given state COVID restrictions.
