Family of Katherine Leadbetter and Matthew Field killed in hit and run reveal pair were expecting baby boy named Miles
The family of Katherine Leadbetter and Matthew Field say they are “forever heartbroken” by the death of the couple and their unborn boy.
The couple were killed while walking their dog on Australia Day at Alexandra Hills, east of Brisbane, by an allegedly stolen car.
The family have described Ms Leadbetter and Mr Field as “great human beings”.
“Talented and funny, and such good company — at the happiest point in their lives, about to embark on the thrilling adventure of parenthood,” they said in a statement read by a family spokesman.
“We were so looking forward to sharing that adventure with them.”
