Life jacket found in search for missing north Queensland fishermen

A waterlogged life jacket and fuel tank have been found as search crews look for three men missing from a fishing trip off the far north Queensland coast.
The trio, aged 18, 27 and 37, had set out from Yarrabah, east of Cairns, for the 140-kilometre trip to Cape Tribulation on Tuesday morning but failed to return in the 4.8-metre vessel later that day.

They were last seen about 8.30am that morning with apparent engine trouble on the vessel, registered VO317Q, near a reef off Green Island, about 20 kilometres away.
