At an event back in October 2019, Microsoft announced the Surface Neo, touted as a two-screen showcase for a new desktop operating system, Windows 10X. While the Neo has since been delayed, Windows 10X has evolved into more than just a dual-screen OS: Its goal is now to be a Chrome OS killeror at least a viable competitor to Googles school-focused operating system.
