Man attacked by crocodile in Caravonica, Cairns

A man has been attacked by a crocodile in far north Queensland.
Queensland Ambulance was called to the scene near Lake Placid Road, in the Cairns suburb of Caravonica, about 12:40pm on Thursday.
The patient – aged in his 40s – was treated by paramedics for multiple minor lacerations to his shoulder, hands and head.
He has since been taken to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition.
Queensland Parks and Wildlife officers are investigating the incident.
