Countdown on to Qld borders reopening to Sydney
It is understood Queensland Health worked around the clock overnight monitoring the situation in the southern state ahead of a planned announcement to reopen to Greater Sydney today, providing the situation did not dramatically change. NSW recorded its 10th day without community transmission of the virus yesterday and a raft of restrictions will be eased in Greater Sydney from Friday. Queensland recorded one new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours from someone who was in hotel quarantine.
