Seven star Sam Armytage has addressed rumours that Basil Zempilas was in line to replace her Sunrise co-anchor, David Kochie Koch.
Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning, the Sunrise host was asked about rumours that Kochie was once on the chopping block with the Lord Mayor of Perth slated as his replacement.
I think years ago, they brought Basil in to see what a succession plan might look like, Armytage said.
But then he went back to Perth and now hes the Mayor of Perth.
