Cricket Victoria operations boss Shaun Graf said Pucovski had visited leading surgeon Dr Greg Hoy, with cortisone injections the initial treatment.
He is having another injection to see if that settles the injury. If not, they may have to do some kind of exploratory surgery to see how damaged it is, Graf said on Monday.
