Woman in custody at Canberra’s jail allegedly strip-searched in front of male inmates in ‘degrading’ act
A female detainee on remand at the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) says she was strip-searched in view of a number of male inmates and staff, in what she described as a “degrading” act.
