A child who died after swallowing a button battery which eroded his insides suffered a sudden and rapid health decline before his death, his parents say.
North Carolina couple Jackie Huff and AJ Huff, who are both health workers, lost their 23-month-old son Johnathan last month.
He went to day care on December 16 when he suffered a nose bleed and vomited blood, Jackie Huff said.
But aside from that, he did not seem distressed.
He was awake and alert….
