Body found in wheelie bin in Perth’s Glen Brook dam in John Forrest National Park
WA Police are working to identify the body of a man found inside a wheelie bin dumped in a dam in Perth’s east.
The incident was reported to police just after 12:30pm yesterday, when someone found the remains in the partially submerged bin.
The dam is located in John Forrest National Park, a popular hiking and picnicking spot.
Detectives are asking for help from members of the public who saw the bin, or from anyone who saw any suspicious activity on or near Park Road in Hovea, near the Glen Brook dam.
Witnesses are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
Police have confirmed the remains are human.
