Deputy Chief Medical Officer Michael Kidd has spoken on News Breakfast this morning, and addressed the concerns over the new South African strain of coronavirus.
“It has been picked up in 13 countries around the world, including in Australia and people who have come into Australia from overseas and who have been in hotel quarantine. We have had 13 cases in Australia to date.
