Education boom kicks off as new high school opens

Baringa State Secondary College will open for the 2021 school year to Year 7 and 8 students, eventually allowing up to Year 12. The multimillion-dollar school, part of Stockland Aura’s precinct, which has up to 20 educational and learning centres proposed, will be the first secondary school in the community west of Caloundra.
Construction has also begun for a second state primary school in the suburb of Nirimba set to open in 2022. Baringa State Secondary College…
