Small businesses closing doors amid public liability insurance crisis – Australian Times
Ombudsman for small enterprises says situation around public liability insurance must change or more businesses will fold.

The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman, Kate Carnell, has called on the Federal Government to implement the recommendations in her Insurance Inquiry, saying too many small businesses are being forced to close their doors because they cant get public liability insurance.
She said the government needs to take urgent action to ensure small businesses can access essential insurance products such as public liability.
