Will Pucovski meets surgeon as he races to avoid fresh Test setback – Fox Sports
Will Pucovski is taking steps to avoid shoulder surgery as he aims for a speedy return to Australia’s Test XI for the tour of South Africa.
The 22-year-old rising star partially dislocated his right shoulder while on Test debut against India at the SCG earlier this month, forcing him to miss the Border-Gavaskar Series finale in Brisbane.
The Age reported on Monday that Pucovski is receiving cortisone injections in a bid to avoid going under the knife to play for Victoria when the Sheffield Shield resumes on February 12.
