The former NRL and Canterbury Bulldogs chief executive was courted by the stars of the game to become the new CEO of the Australian Cricketers Association.
Then in December he was spotted having coffee in Sydneys eastern suburbs with Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, the Test vice-captain and an ACA director who was on a brief break from the national teams biosecurity bubble during the limited-overs games against India.
