Court battle over $1.17m home’s demolition plan

The new owner of 23 Kent Street, New Farm, named in court documents as Stuart Ellis, applied with Brisbane City Council for its complete demolition in September, arguing it was “structurally unsound” and would cost $224,490.75 to repair.
