Boomerang bags from banners | Noosa Today

Locals can grab themselves a slice of the Ironman triathlon or Noosa 101.3FM community radio by buying a Boomerang Bag created from their cast offs.
Sandra Acheson of Boomerang Bags said the organisations had donated their old banners and signage to the charity for use for their recycled bags.
Sandra said other businesses donated their fabrics to them including a Doonan business the made padded bed heads.
The charity is always on the lookout for competent sewers to join its army of volunteers who sew the bags at sewing bees at its base at Wallace House or at home.
As well as reducing the use of plastic in Noosa by encouraging the use of recycled fabric bags Boomerang Bags continue to support Ocean…
