Symmons Plains 41-year-old outright lap record looks set to fall tomorrow based on James Goldings pace-setting effort on the opening day of the 2021 VHT S5000 Australian Drivers Championship.
The Garry Rogers Motorsport driver was quickest in each of the two full practice sessions at the Tasmanian circuit, after Thomas Randle topped a Practice 0 for rookie drivers which saw all 11 of this weekends entrants turn laps.
