Stars’ finals hopes put on life support
The Perth Scorchers have notched their third consecutive win in a row, with a victory over the Melbourne Stars by 11 runs at the MCG on Saturday night.
With a spot in the BBL finals already locked up, the Scorchers once again showed just why they’re considered title favourites by setting the Stars a target of 183 runs to win. Tonight’s win also put Perth atop of the BBL ladder.
Openers Jason Roy (54 off 32) and Liam Livingstone (24 off 29) put together a partnership of 83 runs to get the Scorchers…
