Three fishermen die after being swept into ocean at Port Kembla’s Hill 60

Three men have died after being swept into the surf by a large wave at Port Kembla in the NSW Illawarra region.
A major emergency response began just after 10:00pm yesterday, following reports several people had been washed off rocks and into the sea.
Witnesses told police the group was standing on rocks fishing near an area known as Hill 60, when they were hit by the wave.
The bodies of the three men were recovered overnight following a search involving police, paramedics, rescue helicopters and local lifeguards.
Police believe two of the men, aged 45 and 49, are from Green Valley in Sydney’s west, while the third is a 69-year-old…
