The pandemic-driven rise in working from home drove a young couple to snatch up a renovated 1936-era cottage for $945,000 after a year-long hunt, as Brisbane’s auction market heats up.
The couple in their 30s, who did not want to be named, spent almost every Saturday morning through the 2020 pandemic searching for “the right place for us”.
