Roosters request NRL exemption to let Suaalii, 17, play in 2021 season – Fox Sports
The Sydney Roosters have made a request to the NRL that would allow 17-year-old Joseph Suaalii to play in 2021.
Suaalii, who turns 18 in September, signed for the Chooks after a drawn-out process which saw him snub South Sydney and Rugby Australia to link up with Trent Robinsons side.
Under current NRL rules he is not allowed to play NRL until he turns 18.
