There is exciting times ahead for Game of Thrones fans with news another prequel is in early development at HBO.
The one-hour show titled Tales of Dunk and Egg is based on George R. R. Martins novellas and follows the story of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg) 90 years before the events of A Song of Ice and Fire take place.
While no writers or talent are currently attached to the project, sources told Variety the project is a high priority for HBO.
