OnePlus and OPPO have reportedly merged their research and development teams in an effort to better maximize resources.

OnePlus and OPPO have reportedly merged their research and development teams in an effort to better maximize resources. OnePlus is majority-owned by BBK Electronics, under which OPPO is also a subsidiary.
OnePlus said in a statement, via Android Authority, that its in the process of further integrating some R&D capabilities within OPLUS, its long-term investor.
