French backpacker ‘removed from Australia’ after helping organise illegal rave
A French national, on a working holiday visa, has been removed from Australia following his involvement in an illegal New Year rave in Queensland.
The tourist was kicked out of Australia on January 19 after helping organise the event, west of Gympie.
He was removed Under the Migration Act 1958 that stipulates “if a visa holder is a risk to the health, safety or good order of the Australian community, their visa can be liable for cancellation and they may be removed”.
