COVID restrictions lifted in Greater Brisbane from early Friday morning

Greater Brisbane will have COVID-19 restrictions eased on Friday after the state overcame a scare from a cluster of the UK strain of the virus.
For the tenth day in a row, no new locally-transmitted cases have been reported overnight on Thursday.
Restrictions on businesses, gatherings and functions will lifted at 1am on Friday, while masks will not be mandatory in a number of indoor settings.
