Apple Studios has acquired the Jake Gyllenhaal-led thriller “Snow Blind” based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Ollie Masters and Tyler Jenkins.
The comic follows a young boy living in Alaska who discovers his family are members of the Witness Protection Program due to their involvement in a crime – and a man seeking revenge is about to find them all out.
Apple reportedly beat out at least five other competitive buyers to obtain the project which Gyllenhaal also produces while Gustav Möller (“The Guilty”) directs in his English-language debut. Patrick Ness (“A Monster Calls”) penned the script.
