Mackenzie Harvey’s heroics with the bat have secured the Melbourne Renegades just their third win of the Big Bash season against the Melbourne Stars.
The Renegades got revenge on their cross-city rivals with a victory by five wickets on Wednesday night at Marvel Stadium to weaken the Stars finals hopes thanks to Harveys 47*.
The cellar dwellers got off to the worst possible start in pursuit of that total when Shaun Marsh walked for 1 and skipper Aaron Finch continued his poor Big Bash form when he went for 10.
