Queensland has recorded two new cases of coronavirus detected in hotel quarantine on the Gold Coast.
The state’s Chief Health Officer, Dr Jeannette Young, said both cases were returned travellers from the United States who have now been taken to hospital.
Queensland COVID-19 snapshot:
A total of 7,990 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours across Queensland where 25 cases remain active.
