South-east set for cool change as severe storm threat disappears

“We are expecting the bulk of that activity to have already occurred for today, we do still have the residual chance of seeing the odd bit of thunder around the region, but we are not expecting any severe storms south of Kingaroy today.
“We do have a region where severe storm development is possible and that includes the Wide Bay area, up to the southern Capricornia and southern Central Highlands and Coalfields district.”
