Bottom touching was ‘workplace accident’ says accused police officer

A police officer has told a Brisbane court he didn’t intentionally touch a female colleague on the buttock during a training exercise.

The officer described the incident as a “workplace accident” and he immediately apologised.
Jason Scott Renwick, 49, pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault over the alleged incident at a Brisbane training facility on February 6, 2019.
