Two men seriously burnt after suspected ‘electrical explosion’ at Gold Coast cafe

Members of the public had to pour water on the severe burns of two men injured in a “major explosion” at a Gold Coast workplace.
The men, believed to be in their 30s, have been hospitalised after the incident in the vicinity of the Pit Stop Cafe on Tuesday morning.
It’s believed they are solar panel installers who were working on an electrical box at the time of the incident.
