PM farewells US Vice President as Qld visit begins
Mr Morrison took the call from the outgoing vice-president as he touched down in his government jet in Longreach on Tuesday morning beginning a four-day regional Queensland tour.He spoke to Mr Pence to wish him well and thank him for the close connection and relationship between the US and Australia during the past four years.
The strong relationship is expected to continue under the Biden Administrators, which will have Obama-era officials whom Australia already holds…
