We have had some rumours about the potential date of release for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20; the timing fits for a launch coming up soon.
**UPDATE** Samsung have confirmed the event will take place on August 5 and will be streamed live at the Samsung Global Newsroom and Samsung.com. We will of course be covering it live so check in here the morning after to learn all about the new devices and their local availability.

Now through a new leak, we’re pretty confident that this will be the case.

The leak shows a graphic that fits with previous “Galaxy Unpacked events” and clearly — as above — shows the date as August 5th. We’re hopeful this may include not just the Note 20 series of devices but also the Z Fold 2 and perhaps even the Z Flip 5G.
With the release date now only 4 weeks away, it’s likely we will see a lot more of the upcoming devices. If recent trends continue, we probably won’t get many, if any, surprises on the day aside from the pricing.
