US boat takes flight and almost sinks in chaotic America’s Cup preliminaries – Sydney Morning Herald
In a spectacular Prada Cup challenger race off Auckland, American boat Patriot flew through the air, tipped over and had to be saved from sinking.
Rival team support craft rushed in to help, including Team New Zealand who were out on the water training and watching the racing action of the challengers.
