Robinson’s ‘confusing’ blow for playmaker
Bulldogs signing Kyle Flanagan has hit out at his remarkable axing by the Roosters, saying coach Trent Robinson left him wondering “what the hell was going on”.
Flanagan was dumped after a single season with the Roosters, who lost consecutive finals in 2020 after winning back-to-back NRL premierships.
Flanagan replaced Cooper Cronk as halfback last year and seemed to perform decently, yet was dropped briefly before being axed with two years remaining on his contract.
