Although Allen was reportedly offered US$50 million (approx. $64 million) to do a ninth season of Home improvement, he turned it down to work on other endeavours, according to E!’s True Hollywood Story. He was paid US$1.25 million (approx. $1.6 million) per episode in the final season of the show.
